Hi, Pearlie! Hi, Miss Totey! Sad but true, it was my early morning experience to have to come to the aid of of a young homeless man who was being chewed up and spit out by some poke-him-with-a-stick-and-laugh people. Their behavior was deplorable. There actually are names that hurt more than sticks and stones. We must always keep in mind that kindness is the key, even when attempting to get cruel-shoes-wearing people to take a step back and look at how hurtful their actions are. And when that doesn't work, my concerned voice says to them: "What would your mother think/say if she saw the manner in which you're conducting yourself?"
Most people don't notice the toad's golden eyes.
Bubba: And their warm smile. Don't forget their warm smile. You might have to turn them upside down* to see it, but it's there.
(*Not to worry; they don't seem to mind it.)
